<p>De Akademie van Kunsten volgt de ontwikkelingen op het gebied van cultuurbeleid in Nederland en reageert en adviseert waar zij dat nodig acht.</p><p> Dit doet de Akademie vaak samen met partners in het kunstenveld, waaronder Kunsten ’92, de Waag Society en de Raad van Cultuur. <h2>Samenhangende visie </h2><p>Woningnood en onze grote behoefte aan energie, dataopslag en voedselproductie strijden om voorrang, tegen een achtergrond van een energie- en stikstofcrisis, groeiende ongelijkheid en de grote klimaatopgave. Met de reeks bijeenkomsten ‘Ruimtelijke Ordening van Nu’ gaat Riek Bakker op zoek naar een nieuwe samenhangende visie op basis van kennis van het verleden en best practices van nu.</p><p>Samen met stedenbouwers, architecten, actieve burgers en bestuurders kijkt Bakker naar de belangrijke opgaven en mogelijke kansen die er liggen voor samenwerking bij de ruimtelijke inrichting van Nederland. </p>

In dit project trekt stedenbouwkundige Riek Bakker het land door op zoek naar een nieuwe samenhangende visie op ruimtelijke ordening, op basis van kennis van het verleden en best practices van nu.

<p>De Akademie van Kunsten krijgt zes nieuwe leden. Het gaat om vooraanstaande kunstenaars uit uiteenlopende kunstdisciplines, zoals beeldende kunst, theater, dans en literatuur. Op 23 maart 2023 worden zij officieel geïnstalleerd als lid tijdens een feestelijke bijeenkomst in het Trippenhuis.</p>
