Amsterdam and Rome
The Society of Arts offers two artist residencies every year:
- In Amsterdam at the Netherlands Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS)
- In Rome at the Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome (KNIR)
As an artist-in-residence, you stay at a research institute for a number of months to conduct research on your own project, focusing on the cross-pollination between art and science.
