Michael Tedja is a leading Dutch writer, poet, painter and curator whose paintings and installations have left their mark on the Dutch art scene for the past 25 years. 

Tedja’s vast artistic output and exceptional talent for developing new conceptual models make him a genuinely original artist. His work has met with acclaim and has been shown in the Netherlands and internationally, for example at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Cobra Museum in Amstelveen, and in several authoritative galleries in the United States. Several of his books have been translated into English by the prestigious Sternberg Press. Tedja is also affiliated with the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam, where he works with many young artists.
