Nelleke Noordervliet

Nelleke Noordervliet (born 1945) has written novels, stories, essays, columns and books on history. Examples include the historical novels Het oog van de engel and Vrij man, and the essay for History Month, Door met de strijd, Nederland in opstand (2018). 

Her latest novel, Aan het eind van de dag (2016), is about a politician looking back on her life in the 1960s and 1970s. Noordervliet is also a columnist for newspaper Trouw and the radio history programme OVT. She also chairs the board of De Schrijverscentrale, is a board member for Genootschap Onze Taal and a supervisory director for Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser. Nelleke Noordervliet received the Constantijn Huygensprijs for her oeuvre in 2018.
