The Society of Arts draws attention to the intrinsic value of the arts, allowing it to deliberate on art itself and the responsibility that artists bear.
It regularly organises activities in which its members and non-members discuss the arts and artistry based on their own work, sources of inspiration and artistic practices. It also holds members-only meetings to promote cross-fertilisation and mutual inspiration between its members. Finally, the Society of Arts encourages talented artists by awarding annual artist-in-residence fellowships.
